The first part of the book provides an analysis of changes in the design of cars and their design from the inception of the late 19th century to the sixties of the 20th century. The relationship between the design of passenger cars and the development of automotive technologies and the increase in speeds is considered. In the second part, an analysis of the directions of design, design and technology for the manufacture of passenger cars from the sixties of the twentieth century to the present was carried out. The relationship of the design of passenger cars with the requirements of safety, ecology, ease of use and economy is considered. A study was carried out on the possibilities of new technologies for the manufacture of passenger car bodies.
