The general investigation of the estates of the Poltava regiment of 1729-1730 includes a description of the villages (owner, monastery, rank, free) and hundreds of cities of the Poltava regiment, carried out by a hundred and regimental foreman and approved by the general foreman and colonels, as well as documents (station wagons, letters, etc.) confirming the rights to own property. In total, they cover population issues, socio-economic, social relations in the region in the 2nd half of the XVII-30 years of the XVIII century.
