Monument, commonly referred to as "Younger Edda," written by Icelandic scholar, poet and politician Snorri Sturluson in 1222-1225 in Iceland. Snorri Sturluson is the most famous of the Icelanders. However, the significance of "Younger Edda" is not only that it is one of the works of the most famous of Icelanders. In the treasury of world literature, "Younger Edda" is the only work of its kind.
