Rokosh Zebrzydowski - Rokosh (legal uprising of the gentry, confederation against the king), which occurred in 1606-1609 as a result of a conflict between King Sigismund III Vaza and the gentry over the foreign policy of the Commonwealth (war with Sweden) and domestic policy issues. The policy of Sigismund III was aimed at strengthening royal power, based on a narrow group of magnates and bishops.
