The textbook is devoted to the history and modern problems of child psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the school of Anna Freud. The stages of the formation of child psychoanalysis, the transformation of the main technical procedures of psychoanalysis in relation to work with children, problem points on this path are described in detail. A historical analysis of the theory of mental development of a child at different ages and the corresponding approaches to building a psychotherapeutic process was carried out. This makes it possible to outline the possibilities of child psychoanalysis "according to Anna Freud" in the treatment of developmental disorders.
