The book summarizes domestic and foreign experience in the use of new types of fuels and water-fuel emulsions in diesel engines, taking into account environmental protection requirements. Structural changes in marine diesel engines due to the use of new fuels are considered. Ecological aspects of use of such fuels are analyzed.
