The publication of the fifth volume of the collection is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the department 0304 VNIIEF. This volume includes articles and reports written by department employees from 2008 to 2015. In November 2013, RFNC-VNIIEF celebrated the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding scientist, founder of the department L.V. Altshuler. This event was devoted to the seminar "Application of shock waves in high pressure physics" and the issue of a special issue of the journal "Atom," one of the articles of which is published in the publication.
