Brief theory, problems with solutions and tests in mechanics, molecular physics and thermodynamics are given. The manual consists of two sections corresponding to the physics course program for technical universities. At the beginning of each chapter, theoretical foundations, basic definitions and formulas are outlined. There are many problems of varying degrees of complexity with solutions and tasks for self-solution. Methods for solving tests are outlined, and tests are given to verify the assimilation of theoretical material. The appendix discusses the possibility of designing a space elevator.
