The manual provides a systematic presentation of the scientific foundations of ultrasonic processing of materials and the features of the technology for its application in various fields of modern technology. Two sections of the manual describe the physical principles of ultrasound propagation and the results of theoretical and experimental studies of ultrasound technology in relation to specific production processes. The experience of industrial use of ultrasound is summarized.
