This volume of CEE is devoted to the main article "Israel," which occupies almost two-thirds of its volume. Its three main sections are the Country of Israel (the birth of the Jewish people and its history in it). The people of Israel (the period of dispersion and diaspora communities now) and the State of Israel - contain extensive information about more than three thousand years of history, culture and religion of Jewry, as well as its life in the present.
