The book is devoted to the study of everyday life, experiences and experiences of Russian noblewomen from Europeanization to modernization using gender methodology based on the synthesis of cognitive strategies of current scientific disciplines: gender and women's studies in ethnology, gender anthropology and the history of everyday life, anthropologically oriented history, history of women and gender history. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of previously underestimated subjective sources - women's letters, memoirs, diaries, which make it possible to interpret the history of everyday life as a "experienced" story, seen through the "eyes" of Russian noblewomen and voiced by their own "voices." Along with the applied aspect, the book presents a theoretical understanding of the concepts of "everyday life" and "female everyday life," clarified the meaning of sources on the history of female everyday life, analyzed the modern historiographic situation in the field of historical studies of everyday life.
