The first volume of "Anthology on the History of Pedagogy" presents fragments from primary sources characterizing the state of education and pedagogical thought in the era of Antiquity, during the Western European Middle Ages, as well as pedagogical thought of the eastern branch of Christianity (Orthodoxy) - in Byzantium, Ancient Russia, Moscow state XV - XVII centuries.
