The textbook was written by a team of scientists of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. Macroeconomics as an independent discipline is presented in a strict logical sequence and reflects the results of scientific research and development of modern economic theory and Russian practice. The authors pay special attention to the theoretical foundations of macroeconomic analysis, the role of the state in a market economy. This textbook differs in that it focuses on those problems that most meet the needs of the development of the national economy of Russia, in particular, it describes in detail the problems of macroeconomic equilibrium at the regional level. The textbook also contains representative material on the history of macroeconomics. Methodological guidelines are given for each topic.
