The translation of the second edition of the monograph, offered to the Russian reader, is devoted to a modern detailed analysis of the fundamental and applied problems of structural inorganic chemistry and crystal chemistry. On the basis of traditional concepts and modern approaches, using a large number of experimental facts and valuable illustrations, current problems and fundamental principles governing the structure of molecules, ionic compounds and metals are presented.
