Style) fraternal peoples of the great USSR will celebrate the significant historical date of the 230th anniversary of the Battle of Poltava - an event of the heroic struggle of the Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian peoples against the Swedish invaders at the beginning of the 18th century. The history of Poltava and its monuments is a brilliant page of the heroic past of the Ukrainian people, who, together with the fraternal Russian people, more than once smashed foreign invaders who wanted to enslave the Russian and Ukrainian peoples.
