The collection is dedicated to the traditional historical relations of St. Petersburg and the Russian fleet in the field of culture, education, humanities and medicine; is a logical continuation of the book "Science of St. Petersburg and the sea power of Russia," published in two volumes of ed. "Science" in 2001 and 2002.
