Nazi invaders unleashed on Belarus, as well as on Ukraine, the full force of the first strikes. Through Belarus lay the way to the East, to Moscow. Armed to the teeth, the enemy unexpectedly and treacherously invaded our country. Taking advantage of the surprise of the attack, the Nazis crowded the Red Army and occupied Soviet territory.
