This collection is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the hostilities of Soviet and Mongolian troops against Japanese militarists on Khalkhin Gol. Included in it are a chapter from G.K. Zhukov's book "Memories and Reflections," Khalkhin-Gol records by K. M. Simonov, memoirs of participants in the battles, stories of writers and journalists about them resurrect glorious pages of courage, heroism and military brotherhood of the two armies. The reader will find in it brief data and photographs of 73 soldiers awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union for military exploits on Khalkhin Gol.
