The manual is intended for students of the 1st year of chemical specialties who continue to study English at the university, as well as persons interested in acquiring the skills of reading scientific and technical literature in English. The purpose of the publication is to teach chemistry students to read and understand literature in their specialty, to develop speech skills of active proficiency in scientific and chemical vocabulary within the framework provided for by the English language program for non-linguistic specialties of universities.
