The second volume of the collective monograph "The History of Court and Justice in Russia" is devoted to legislation and justice of the late Middle Ages. Attention in it is focused on the legislation adopted in the Moscow state at the end of the XV - XVII centuries. (Sudebniki 1497, 1550, 1589), as well as on the implementation of the Lip and Zemsky reforms (30-50s of the XVI century). The documents adopted during the Troubles and the Civil War were analyzed: the legislation of Boris Godunov, False Dmitry I and Vasily Shuisky, District letters of the "Seventh" government and agreements with the Polish king Sigismund III on inviting Prince Vladislav to the Moscow throne.
