Many dramas and tragedies that befell the Float of the Russian Imperial Navy are unjustly forgotten. Among them - the death of submarines of the Black Sea Fleet, which on April 22-26, 1919 were withdrawn by tugboats of the Anglo-French fleet from the port and flooded with subversive cartridges on the outer roadstead of Sevastopol. Over the years, eight of the thirteen submarines were raised to the surface, but five submarines still lie at the bottom of the Black Sea near Sevastopol: "Loon," "Karas," "Sperm Whale," "Narwhal," "Skat." In the history of the submarine fleet, these submarines played a significant role - they were the first submarines built in the Fatherland they own many victories at sea in the First World War.
