Dilthey Philip Heinrich (1723-1781), the first professor of law at Moscow University, representing the entire law faculty of this university for the first 10 years. Originally from Tyrol (Austria), he was educated at the universities of Strasbourg, Innsbruck and Vienna. At the establishment of Moscow University, Diltey, through Miller and Bushing, in 1756 was invited to Russia, under a special contract, with a salary of 500 rubles, to give lectures on jurisprudence and history.
