The handbook, which was concluded by the historian V. Mandzyak, summarizes and systematizes information about military events (battles, clashes, sieges) that took place on the territory of the Ukrainian state and with the participation of the Ukrainian ethnic group in the Middle Ages and the New Age. The territorial framework of military conflicts mentioned in the directory applies to the places of resettlement of the Ants, Rus, Ukrainian Cossacks and the like. The publication contains 833 slogans submitted in the Ukrainian alphabet. The directory is concluded according to the territorial principle (the main one in the slogan with the name of the settlement or area where the military conflict took place).
