This anthology contains original texts and Russian translations of numerous Latin, several Italian sources and one Spanish source on the history of the Golden Horde until the end of the reign of Khan Uzbek, that is, until the fall of 1341. The bulk of the translated sources in this anthology contain information about the missionary activities of the Franciscans and Dominicans on the territory of the Jochi ulus.
