The tutorial, after outlining the essence of hybrid applications based on Apache Cordova (formerly PhoneGap) and NativeScript, their features, advantages and disadvantages, discusses the basic Cordova technology, and builds a simple application using geolocation data as an example. A brief overview of a number of the most famous j & # 097; vascript libraries and frameworks based on them is given. Explained how to install and use command line tools to manage the life cycle of the Sencha Ext JS Modern application and integrate it with Cordova. Full code listings are provided in the appendix. Particular attention is paid to the development of hybrid applications for iOS. The so-called Ad Hoc application distribution through a secure connection to a web server is discussed in detail.
