The collection is devoted to the problem of correlation of mythology and literature on the material of Asian and African traditions. The study of book and oral literature of the East significantly expands the understanding of this topical topic, shows how differently myth enters the literature of different peoples and how mythological consciousness enters into complex interaction with various ideological teachings of the East, with the worldview of a particular people.
