Arthur Drews (1865-1935), German idealist philosopher, follower of E. Hartmann. The last major work of Drews on the original Christianity is "The Origin of Christianity from Gnosticism," published in 1924. Here the thesis formulated by the author in the title reveals one facet: there can be no historical prerequisites in the image of the gospel Christ.
