The watch industry in the Soviet Union has significantly expanded its range of watches in recent years. Watch factories have mastered modern models that are distinguished by high accuracy, reliability and durability of operation, for example, a men's wristwatch with an odio-sharpened stopwatch "Strela," precision (especially accurate) watches "Vostok," women's watches "Ring" and "Bracelet," a desk clock with a calendar and an electric factory "Energia," a floor clock with a fight and others. The wide range of watches produced allows you to satisfy different tastes of buyers. The range of women's and men's watches in chrome, anodized and painted in gold, gilded and gold cases of various shapes is especially diverse. Gilded cases are covered with gold of the 850th sample with a thickness of 20 microns. Gilding is carried out galvanically according to a special technological process developed by the Scientific Research Institute of the Watch Industry.
