The first generalizing work on the history of Sweden in Russian. The book greatly benefits from the fact that the author is Swedish. Accordingly: 1. Well versed in the history of his country. 2. The book was published without Soviet "obligations" such as quotes from Marx, Lenin, etc. But there are also disadvantages: the editors, at their discretion, removed fragments "not interesting for the Soviet reader." It should be noted that the author's assessment of some events does not always coincide with the modern one.
