The new edition of the book of the famous Soviet critic, researcher of the work of N. A. Nekrasov is timed to coincide with the 165th anniversary of the birth of the great poet. The essays show the interaction of Nekrasov's poetry with other significant poetic phenomena of the middle and second half of the 10th century, primarily with the poetry of Tyutchev and Fet, its influence on the development of democratic poetry. The author touches on the problem of the Nekrasov tradition at the beginning of the 20th century. (A. Blok, A. Bely) and in Soviet poetry (M. Isakovsky, A. Tvardovsky).
