The book outlines the main approaches to building decomposition and aggregation procedures designed to solve large-scale mathematical programming problems. Under certain conditions, the use of these procedures allows you to get a solution to the original problem as a result of solving a certain set of interconnected auxiliary subtasks, each of which in one sense or another is simpler than the original.
