The album describes and systematizes Russian, Mordovian, Tatar folk costumes, the costume of the Penza Chuvash, annotations for each type of costume are given. All filming was made from genuine samples from museums: Penza, Saratov, Saransk, Sergiev Posad, St. Petersburg, Tambov, from the collection of the St. Tikhvin Kerensky Monastery, from the Saransk Art School named after F.V. Sychkov, school museums and private collections.
