The Fourth World War is a war waged by world neoliberalism with every country, every people, every person. And this is the war on which the advanced detachment is behind enemy lines: Zapatista Army of National Liberation, southeast Mexico, Chiapas. In this war, the main weapon is not guns and guns, but the fight against disease and hunger, the organization of self-governing communes and concern for the cleanliness of latrines, real support for Mexican society and the global anti-globalization movement. And also - the memory of the dead, poems about love, ancient myths and new fairy tales. Subcomandante Marcos, a man without a past, always wearing a mask that hides his face, is the voice of this army, the poet of a new revolution. The collection contains texts by Marcos and the Zapatista movement, from the very First Declaration of the Lacandon Selva to the present day.
