This manual is devoted to the presentation of the most important problems of modern phytopathology, primarily the molecular aspects of the relationship between plants and their parasites. Molecular studies of the mechanisms of phytoimmunity made it possible to find common channels for the evolution of immunity in plants, invertebrates and vertebrates and argue for the existence of a general theory of immunity.
