The monograph presents the results of studies of the structure, spontaneous and anthropogenic dynamics of taiga forests on a landscape basis for more than 25 years. An extensive pool of literary data was used in the work for the conditions of the European part of the taiga zone of Russia. A general description of this part of the country is given and various types of its zoning (landscape, geobotanical, forest-growing) are considered.
