The book is a philosophical and political analysis of the genesis of the Russian Revolution, its socio-political and economic consequences. The author, philosopher and historian, defines the genre of his work as a political and philosophical study. Within the boundaries of this approach, they are given a certain angle of analysis of the revolution, and the composition of the problems under consideration, and the initial dismemberment of the subject. The author associates the contradictions and deadlocks of the Russian Revolution, communist totalitarianism not with the departure of the Russian Revolution from the supposedly only, Western European highway of progress, which some argue, but above all with the originality of the conditions, internal and external, in which the revolutionary explosion erupted.
