The monograph is devoted to the study of topical issues of the formation and development of the planning structure of the Kyiv hem in the Old Russian period. Interdisciplinary studies present a hypothetical scheme for the development of the relief of the largest Kyiv region during its regular settlement. Analysis of archaeological, cartographic and written sources made it possible to identify the main elements of the planning structure, the principles of their placement and trace their relationship.
