The Soviet-German non-aggression treaty means a turn in the development of Europe, a turn towards improving relations between the two largest states of Europe. This treaty not only gives us the elimination of the threat of war with Germany, narrows the field of possible military clashes in Europe, and thus serves the cause of universal peace - it should provide us with new opportunities for the growth of forces, the strengthening of our positions, and the further growth of the influence of the Soviet Union on international development.
