The tutorial attempts to give a comprehensive picture of the first stage of the Russian development of Siberia. In detail, knowledge about economic, socio-economic relations, the management of Siberia, social cooperation and conflicts, the culture and activities of the Russian Orthodox Church in Siberia in the late XVI - early XVIII centuries is considered and systematized.
