Children's writer Yuri Yakovlev (1922-1995) wrote about what he himself experienced and what he knew, and remained faithful to these "horizons" until the end of his life. He put his stories about the war, about children, about four-legged friends in one row, said that they complement each other, serve the same cause. "But," the writer emphasized, "good must be strong, courageous, must be under reliable protection. Only then will it triumph."
