On the basis of documents from domestic and foreign archives, the author talks in detail, in all details, about the battles in the area of ​ ​ Pskov, Ostrov, Izborsk, Strezhnevsky bridgehead in July 1944. For the first time, accurate information is given about the number and losses of both the Red Army and the Wehrmacht.
