The purpose of the proposed publication is to familiarize a reader interested in the history of Russia and the Caucasus, with the dramatic events unfolding on Mugani between January 1918 and August 1919, when, in the conditions of the collapse of the Russian Empire, anarchy, British intrigues, the Ottoman invasion and raids of Iranian nomads in the southern Caucasus, the population of the region defended law and order and managed to independently protect Mugan from many bloody perversions of the end of World War I and the Bolshevik revolution.
