The book is devoted to classical averages, most of which were known in antiquity, and the applications of their properties in solving arithmetic, algebraic and geometric problems. Particular attention is paid to the relationship of various averages and the establishment of interdisciplinary connections between some topics of school courses in algebra and geometry.
