This book contains a study in the field of Italian-Russian - diplomatic and trade - relations in the 15th century. The work is based on the records of two Venetians, Josaphat Barbaro and Ambrogio Contarini, about their travels in different parts of the territory of Eastern Europe, where the Russian state already existed and further developed.
