This manual is a continuation of the manual of the same author "Ancient Russia in Soviet Fiction." It analyzes works of art of the historical genre dedicated to Moscow Russia in the second half of the 13th-15th centuries, examines the question of the reliability of historical novels and short stories, notes their positive and negative aspects, and highlights some errors in covering historical events and figures. It includes excerpts from fiction that can be used directly in history classes and in extracurricular activities with students.
