The collection contains articles by leading experts in the field of Baltic-Slavic language and ethno-language contacts from Russia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Japan. The articles are devoted to topical (and little-studied) problems of phonetics and morphology of the Baltic languages, toponymy, etymology, the history of the Prussian language, as well as the important Slavic theme of "simple movement."
