The main significance of this collection lies in the fact that instead of false ideas about the Trypillian culture of old archaeologists (Khvoyki and others), Soviet researchers and authors of this collection, thanks to a critical view of the old material, a new excavation methodology, and especially thanks to the large number of observations made during excavations in recent years, came to quite reasonable conclusions; in particular, for the first time they managed to solve a number of issues related to the settlement and sites - the homes of the ancestral society.
