The monograph for the first time systematizes the materials of monuments transitional from the stone era to the metal era of time along the contact territory between the steppes of Eastern Europe and Kazakhstan and the forest zone of Eurasia. On the basis of archaeological data, issues of the formation of a producing economy in the forest-steppes of the Urals and the Urals are considered.
