In the methodological part of the book, the issues of the formation of basic performing skills of novice musicians are discussed in detail, exercises for mastering the neck and working with a bow are given. The applied part contains plays, exercises, sketches to consolidate the acquired skills. The material is based on the author's many years of experience in the Central Music School at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Theater. The book is richly and colorfully illustrated.
