Domestic and foreign experience in designing, calculating and designing industrial robots of aggregate-modular type is summarized. Examples of typical structures are given, methods of calculation and design of structural modules with drives of various types are given. Methods of kinematic and dynamic calculation of typical arrangements, algorithm of computer-aided design of modular PR are described.
